Verse 10

"Our army being protected by the strength of Bheeshma is unlimited,
but the army of the Pandavas protected by the strength of Bheema is limited."
Analysis:
In this verse, Duryodhana makes an estimation of comparative strengths of the Kaurava and Pandava army.He thinks that the strength of his armed forces isimmeasurable, being specifically protected by the mostexperienced general, Grandfather Bheeshma. On the other hand, the forces of the Pandavas are limited, being protected by a less experienced general, Bheema, who is like a fig in the presence of Bheeshma. Duryodhana was always envious of Bheema because he knew perfectly well that if he should die at all, he would only be killed by Bheema. But at the same time, he was confident of his victory on account of the presence of Bheeshma, who was a far superior general. His conclusion that he would come out of the battle victorious was well ascertained.
