Analysis:
Women have been the backbone of a strong society. The likes of
Sita, Savithri and Damaynthi have
from times immemorial been held as ideals of true womanhood in India. These
ideals of chastity and
purity, unselfishness and service, simplicity and modesty have been pursued by
our women drawn by
the vision of innate divinity. In this verse Arjuna says that because of the war
when adharma will rise in a society, the status of women is degraded which in turn
results in further downfall of the society.
The essence of all beauty is harmony. In an age like this, we
are giving many suggestions as to how to make the home look more beautiful
through interior decoration and other measures. But the fundamental thing about
making the home beautiful is to bring peace to the home. Women as a mother is
the main focus of peace in the home and a happy contented mother from whom
radiates strong positive vibrations is not the exclusive property of one family,
but she becomes the treasure of the entire community. Women
should first learn to establish peace and orderliness nearer home, before they
stretch out their energies into wider social field
